MAIN STREET UNION CITY ANNOUNCES 2025 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

UNION CITY, TENN. – Main Street Union City has just announced its 2025 calendar of events and other exciting news for the downtown district.

When creating events for downtown, the Main Street board of directors and the executive director make sure the events align with the mission of the organization.

“Our mission is to revitalize the economy, enhance the historical charm and preserve the architectural heritage of the downtown district,” said Katie Graves, executive director of Mian Street. “With every project, improvement, enhancement and event we do downtown, we make sure it aligns with our mission.”

This year, the organization will host 10 events in the downtown area for community members and tourists to enjoy.

April 11-12: Spring Open House Weekend
April 19: Downtown Clean Up Day – Community Engagement
May 9: Sip & Shop – late-night shopping for Mother’s Day Weekend
June 13: Main Street Members-Only Event
Oct. 11: Tacos & Tamales Fundraiser
Oct. 31: Downtown Trick-or-Treat
Nov. 13: Christmas Tree Lighting & Late-night Shopping
Nov. 14-15: Christmas Open House Weekend
Nov. 29: Small Business Saturday
Dec. 4: Union City Christmas Parade
All events are subject to change.

Not only does Main Street host events throughout the year, but the organization also assists property owners improve their facades through grants, incorporate the arts through the Tennessee Arts Commission, recruit new businesses to the downtown district and more.
