Downtown Improvements Continue – Summer 2024

Lots of activity has been happening in downtown Union City this summer. Buildings have been pressure washed and painted, brickwork is getting touched up and the highly-anticipated Reelfoot Brewing Company is almost ready to open to the public.

We wanted to showcase a few buildings with their improvements, as well as show what progress is being made downtown. You can see what a little cleaning and paint can do to a building to give it that facelift it’s been needing for quite some time.

This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see what else happens in downtown Union City thanks to private donors, supporters and the Downtown Improvement Grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

We do this work so that our community members of Union City and Obion County can enjoy a charming downtown to eat, shop, live and play.
