MAIN STREET UNION CITY DONATES OLD FLAGS FOR RETIREMENT CEREMONY

Main Street Union City partnered with a local troop of Trail Life USA to properly retire 15 old American flags just in time for Memorial Day. Trail Life USA is a Christian-based program designed to train the next generation of men in leadership skills, management skills and mentorship.

Pictured in the group from left to right is Katie Graves, Main Street Director; David Libby, Jr.; Matthew Libby; and the boys’ father, David Libby. These three, along with other boys and men in the Union City troop, will deliver these flags to the Union City VFW for a proper flag retirement ceremony in June 2023.
